Founded in 2000 by Amy and Michael in Monteverde, Costa Rica, Women of the Cloud Forest empowers artisans through fair trade partnerships. The team, now including Marla and Sue, sells to over 500 stores across the US and Canada, working with artisans primarily in Nicaragua, Ecuador, Peru, and Nepal. They provide stable jobs, no-interest micro-loans, and support environmental initiatives.
