About the Maker
Handcrafted by Maribel—“Mari” of MariRu Design Studio—whom I met at SanSe 2026 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mari has studied silversmithing and wire-wrapping techniques and has been creating jewelry for many years.
She is certified under Puerto Rico’s Law 166, which protects and defines authentic artisan work made on the island. Mari is certified in three categories: silversmith, metals, and artisanal jewelry.
As a Puerto Rican myself, bringing pieces of her work back to Nyack feels especially meaningful—celebrating craftsmanship, culture, and connection.
